Work History

Ryan is our soils and land use specialist. Ryan has always had a strong passion for the environment and outdoors on a professional and recreational level. Ryan grew up on a dairy farm near Whanganui, studied AgriScience at Massey University, managed a Sheep and Beef farm in Marton for three years, and worked for the Regional Council as a Land Management Advisor before founding Falcon Farm Planning.

Ryan is a systemic thinker, adept at integrating new farming technologies for maximum production, efficiency, and sustainability, with a strong practical understanding of farming. He has a unique blend of skills in agriculture, soils, and GIS, enabling him to implement technical solutions and communicate them practically.

Ryan strongly believes in continuous learning and consistently pursues new knowledge. He has recently studied Advanced Farm Environment Planning, GHG and Climate Change in Agriculture, Drone Piloting 101, and Advanced Sustainable Nutrient Management.
